9月28日、10月12日和19日下午，国际教育学院联合澳洲国际商学院中汇学院（GBCA）共同举办了一系列“英语语言系列”讲座，此次讲座共三场，均由Elena Long老师主讲。讲座吸引了来自我校不同专业的近百人参加，学生互动积极，现场干货满满。

  I had the honor to participate in the free training of Elena Long, and I sincerely thank the College for setting up a good platform for us to improve our learning. 

  The teacher's rich knowledge and exquisite theoretical exposition touched my heart, and made my thoughts rekindled with passion and fighting spirit. I really feel the benefit of teacher Elena Long leading us to read the language in class. I have actively practiced and made my oral English keep improving. It opened my eyes and benefited me greatly.

  With the progress of The Times and the development of society, the process of global integration is further accelerated, and English as an international common language, its importance is self-evident. From a large aspect, as college students, we, as the successors of the motherland, in order to better enhance the communication with other countries, master the English language, has become an essential skill for us. As for the small aspect, for most non-English major college students, it is a necessary goal in employment, job hunting or college life. 

  Thanks to this learning lecture, I have learned more knowledge.

  Through these three lectures, I felt deeply and really realized what it is to learn English well in the real sense. Miss Elena long gives lectures on time management, reading skills, note taking skills, theme planning, content planning, PPT design, etc. These three classes have large capacity, good rhythm, speaking and practicing, clear knowledge construction network, teachers are rich in knowledge and teaching experience, and are good at summarizing test questions and problem-solving skills, so that we have some experience in these aspects.

  As far as my personal situation is concerned, through the weekly English PPT, I have also been exposed to richer English learning resources, broadened my horizons and enhanced my awareness of autonomous learning.

 澳大利亚迪肯大学教育学博士，英国布鲁奈尔大学媒体与传播学硕士。主要研究领域有英语语言教学与学习，教育学理论，教育哲学，批判思维，学习理论，教学法，佛莱雷，杜威，孔子。同时具有丰富英语教育教学经验，主讲学术英语，通用英语，雅思口语与写作，新概念英语，大学英语。持有英语教育（TESOL）毕业证书，澳大利亚教师资格证书（TAE四级证书）。
